History:
With the beginning of the educational activity of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences in 1986, the Department of Health was established in the Faculty of Medicine of the University.
In 2004, the Department of Health separated from the Faculty of Medicine. It continued its educational and research activities independently under the title of the Faculty of Health in the form of three educational groups:
Epidemiology and Biostatistics,
Environmental Health Engineering, and
Public Health.
After that, the school gradually started to offer the educational programs below:
In 2004, a non-continuous bachelor's course in environmental health engineering; In 2009, a bachelor's degree in public health; In 2009, continuous Bachelor of Environmental Health Engineering; In 2010, a Master's Degree in Environmental Health Engineering, Continuous Bachelor's Degree in Public Health and Master's Degree in Biostatistics; and 2015 a master's degree in epidemiology;
In
2017, a specialized doctorate in environmental health engineering.
Currently, there are seven courses in the Faculty of Health.
