Introducing the center:
1- History:
Advanced Instrumental Analysis Laboratory was established in 2015 to train undergraduate and postgraduate students and assist both students and university teachers in conducting research.
2- Visions:
To train necessary skills to would-be environmental health professionals, including the following:
  •  Assisting in improving health and solving environmental problems as teamwork;
  • Identification of physical, chemical and biological operations and processes to improve the environment;
  • Recognition and application of pollutants measurement devices and equipment;
  • Recognition and selection of efficient technologies for pollution control;
  • Recognition of the methods of evaluation, monitoring and management of environmental health and environment; and
  • Gaining knowledge about laws, standards and pollution control programs.
3- Perspective:
We intend to offer applied courses to the graduates so that they will be able to design, manage and implement environmental health plans, and to offer one of the most prominent educational programs across Iran by improving our program qualitatively and quantitatively.
4- Mission:
  • Providing a suitable platform to conduct experiments and training related to advanced technologies in the field of environmental health; and
  • promoting research in available advanced analysis devices.
5- Equipment:

Research priorities:
1) New methods of water treatment and pollutants removal;
2) Monitoring carcinogens in drinking water;
3) New methods of wastewater treatment and removal of hazardous pollutants;
4) Air pollution (gases and particles) and determining related health effects, disease burden and mortality;
5) Environmental factors and biomarkers and their relationship with health;
6) Conventional levels of agricultural pesticides in soil and water resources;
7) The levels of heavy metals in household consumables across the province;
8) Preparing equipment, identifying and sampling chemical and biological agents;
9) The causes of the gradual increase in the amount of nitrates in drinking water in urban and rural areas;
10) Possible ways to solve problems of high nitrate in drinking water;
11) The levels of heavy metals and nitrates in water resources of the province;
12) The levels of heavy metals in household salt samples in the province;
13) The levels of trans fatty acids in household oil; and
